This happened at The Woodlands a few weeks ago with the Ironman. Arrested and charged a guy with a felony for hitting the traffic flow cop.
Someone's dash cam video showed the cop kick his car as he drove by and fall to the ground. Oops.

Exactly. I'm sure Scottie Scheffler was Bo Duking his way through there with a cop on his car OR… he's going how he was instructed, Roscoe sees him, flips out, and runs along the car beating it (which is what witnesses are already saying was the case vs "dragged") which I'm sure takes Scottie a second to process then stop.

Just said on ESPN radio his tee time is 1008 and if he doesn't play the first hole he is disqualified.
And the director of the tournament is absolutely pushing through to play the tournament. "The caddie" is discussing and he is beside himself that they are going to play because of the conditions regardless of Scottie's status

5 minutes from his tee time is the cut off for disqualification and that comes with a 2 stroke penalty

So I am certainly not a BLM/Defund the Police supporter, but this kind os **** happens thousands of times a day all over the country where charges are just thrown at people. Scheffler is obviously going to be able to get them dropped and so could a lot of us for that matter. But a lot of people can't.aftershock said:

The fact that they put him in the jail house uniform so fast is absurd. In Harris County you can be there for a day and still not get the jail clothes. They stripped him essentially the instant he came in. I'm guessing the Sargeant or LT were not down at the station yet. It's been a while since I've seen something so ridiculous.

Jeff Darlington was standing right there. He's been on air on ESPN. Sounds like a big misunderstanding. Jeff Darlington said it was clear the officer didn't even know Scottie was a player in the tourney.
