No. He was trying to go around a bus that had no driver according to the ESPN guy. It was a paved shoulder and right in front of the players entrance. He said he went about 10 yards with the cop cussing at him and beating on the window and he stopped. Said he rolled down the window and the cop tried to pull him through the window by grabbing his arm.
Bad deal for Scottie and likely and over-enthusiastic cop but given the situation just bad timing for both it would appear.

Sure smells like a severe overreaction by an uninformed cop. These players drive past barriers every tournament.

That's assuming he was working the event and not the fatality.
Not making excuses for the guy, but a guy was just struck and killed nearby. Acting like this was a just a normal event traffic morning is disingenuous.

The last guy that I would expect would get aggressive a drag a cop is Scheffler.Bunk Moreland said:
Apparently a cop was "dragged" by Scheffler and sustained minor injuries. LMPD likely needs to stop releasing statements like that and just let Scottie go. Or else the police video will need to show some major aggression on scheffler's part.
No no no. Keep doing it. Keep digging the hole. Please. It is great stuff.Bunk Moreland said:

I fully expect to see Scottie on the course today.
He'll probably card a low-60's round.

He's got an hour and 45 minutes to be processed, released and back to Valhalla.
