Ok, if people want to complain about too much Tiger coverage now that he's rarely in contention that's one thing. But now we are complaining that they are showing too much of the player who is #1 in the world, has won 4 of his last 5 starts (including the most recent major), and is currently at the center of one of the most bizarre and unbelievable sports stories of all time?

They tracked him from the tee box all the way past the green to find the ball, get rulings, make his decision, do the fake drops, do the fake placement, then finally cut to Dietry who was on the same hole and decided to go ahead and play. During that time like 3 other guys on the course made brides to get to 9 or 10 under & Rory was beginning his charge.

There was no reason to just sit on scottie cam for that much time in between his tee shot and his next with all the other action and the stacked leaderboard. Show other golf shots and just come back to him once he's about ready to hit again. And we still would have seen the exact same amount of shots of his.

Why do they think we care so much about Michael Block!? Play the golf tournament.

What didn't go well? Lowry now is deserving of TV coverage but he wasn't when he was well back. Following Tiger's every shot and step while 7 over was not.

I chuckle when I read comments like this. The reason that a major tournament won't be returning to Valhalla is because the PGA of America no longer owns Valhalla, which was the ONLY reason that Valhalla held multiple PGA Championships and a Ryder Cup. Plenty of better, more demanding, more deserving clubs out there, but those clubs weren't owned by the PGA of America.

Which leads right into PGA Frisco, which is already slated to host a PGA Championship and rumored to host a Ryder Cup, SOLELY because it is owned by the PGA of America which runs both events. I also chuckle about the weather comment. As if a golf tournament in mid-May in North Texas is somehow immune from adverse weather (see the Nelson & Colonial).

I was more referencing the fog which caused a lengthy delay this morning. Not something we get in May. Yes rain will be a concern, May is the wettest month in Texas.

I think PGA Frisco will be a great test, I hope they have it running fast and firm. Maybe it's just me but I'd take an LACC type course over Valhalla any day.
