Obviously they're raising prices because they see how fast they're bringing about their own demise. Selling that many cars just brings us closer to the day when everyone who wants a Tesla already has one and they run out of customers. That's how that works, right?
They should probably spend all that extra revenue in executive searches or retention packages so they don't have such high turnover at the highest levels like they have recently. The last two General Counsels lasted 2 months and 10 months, just like at all quality companies. That's how that works, right?
BMW literally had 10x the profit of Tesla last earnings.
And 2x the cash on hand.

I still think it's doomed. The stock price doesn't reflect the company's health.
Like I mentioned some pages back, I just think Musk is shady as hell and have trouble investing in someone like that. Call it burned by Enron syndrome, but his type of shadiness gives me significant sustainability concerns.
Tesla tops Wall Street estimates with a record 112,000 vehicle deliveries in fourth quarter
Tesla delivered a record 112,000 vehicles globally during the fourth quarter, significantly topping Wall Street estimates and achieving CEO Elon Musk's year-end sales goal.
Wall Street expected Tesla to deliver 106,000 vehicles to customers during the fourth quarter, which would have just met the company's annual delivery goal of between 360,000 and 400,000 vehicles, a 45% to 65% increase from 2018.
Tesla said it delivered approximately 367,500 vehicles last year, an impressive 50% jump from 2018.
Shares of the electric-car maker surged more than 4% in morning trading to $448, a 49% rise rise over the last 12 months.

I did not think they would hit 360k vehicles but they did.
With the new factory spinning up in China and the Model Y launching this year I think they should easily beat 500k sales in 2020.
A certain foolish people just came out with a "BUY"; why now, I don't understand them, but they get results!
I would much rather buy a Tesla than buy TSLA.

In my small home town of 5k, one of our gas stations put in a tesla charging station. There are cars there all the time. I was eating at the sandwich shop the other day and while I was in there for 20 min 4 diferent cars pulled in for a fill up..

Not marfa, don't think a Tesla can make it that far.
I know you are joking, but there are literally 10 superchargers that a Tesla can get to Marfa from. That is the most commonly sold model 3 with 310 range. The S can do 370 miles or so.
Also, there are currently 3 charges in Marfa: St. George Hotel, Tumble In RV Park, and El Cosmico (whatever that is).

Posted on investment thread. Went with weekly $485 Puts as TSLA retested $500. Puts bought when TSLA was $499.25.
Closed half on fairly immediate drop to $480 yesterday. Converted remainder of puts into a short position at $485. So I have $15 of value in those and would cover if we break $500.

Lol. It went up 120% the next day but I was busy with work and sold for 60% gain on Friday
short again.
