The video at the link makes a good argument for it.

The 50 weekly MA has hardly turned over. Also the "death cross" confirmed today. Ppl are firing way too soon trying to pick a bottom, IMO. We are a month into this thing and haven't even printed a recession number yet.....except for weekly unemployment that dwarfs any other number ever (PPT came in that morning in futures). Ppl expecting an immediate rebound to pre-virus consumption levels in April-June are mistaken.
Just for a fun thought experiment. If you had to make a case for the bulls. What numbers would you use to support it?
DIG is long oil, DUG is short. I wish I had got into DUG at 40, egads! it hit 160 a week or 2 ago, but back around 100 now.Carlo4 said:
And DIG is the counterpart to going long correct? Figure I won't need that for a while, but just putting it in my head.

Virginia now has shelter in place until June 10th, WTF!
I'm starting to wonder why elderly aren't shelter in place and the under 60 allowed out? This would benefit the elderly in the long run as many of us would get it, get over it, build up herd immunity.

if you are over 60 (or heavy smoker), make it a requirement for them to shelter... everybody else, life as usual
maybe we are too politically correct nowadays...?

Does the post seem made up now? Not something I want to be right about either. I was just relaying info but it sounds more and more like layoff numbers are growing by the minute.
Wait, are you saying that the NBA didn't have to lose billions, all they had to do was say "at-risk populations stay home"?khaos288 said:Ag92NGranbury said:that should be it right there...BREwmaster said:

Has nothing to do with political correctness. Infinitely more informed task forces filled with doctors are passing the current guidelines.
A huge problem is people not giving an eff. The three golf courses around my house have never been more busy. Including beers and shenanigans in the club house after/pre-round.

Considering half the patients of our hospitals right now are under 60, I don't think that's the answer, either. The death rate isn't really the issue, it's the hospitalizations.Bocephus said:BREwmaster said:

This is what's going to happen
Now we know that you aren't aware of the problem that people are concerned about. It isn't fatality rates.Ag92NGranbury said:
