Would be nice to have Tarik Skubal on the mound, right?

But he got his own training regimen to keep. Thanks for the three innings he pitched against Great Britain, though. Not sure we would've won if we had someone else on the mound against that juggernaut.

So yeah it was out of the zone but the ump has to adjust to seeing 102 gas then seeing that nasty pitch. And he's also got to make the call with conviction. With the game on the line he can't sit on it and make a late call either way.

He saw what he saw and made his call.

Kinda sucks but that's baseball.

I knew we struck out alot last night, just checked and it was 15 times! Wow. And only 1 BB.

Our hitting in this WBC has definitely been subpar.
