100%. I think he struggles to get 30 HRs. Every swing he takes is a HR swing. Not hard for a decent pitcher to work right through and around that.

Hopefully having to go to the pen starts something now.

Let's not forget Judge choking once again in the big game. At least for now. HATE the Yankees but fot tonight I wish Judge would do something.
The modern game is at fault. When all you know to do - and reward - is hit HRs and blow it by hitters, you lose the ability to manufacture base runners and runs. We've struggled to get guys on this whole tournament with less than 2 outs because everyone wants the HR.
I also suspect DeRosa is held captive by promises made. Nobody is giving up spring training to ride the pine so I suspect promises were made to yield commitments. And he can't easily go back on his word because this whole thing is essentially underwritten by and on loan from MLB.

Judge could be at bat with bases loaded, zero outs and winning run for the world series 90 feet away. Yet still mange, to hit into a double play forcing an out at home and 3rd.
