Just got home. Atmosphere was super fun. Judge choking was disappointing and predictable.

And if we advance, the most likely spot is runner up which puts us against japan in the semis…if we get there

Hopefully Aaron Nola (for Italy) is off tonight. I think we stand a better chance of Mexico scoring 5+ than Italy winning the game.
“There’s some guys dragging today,” Team USA manager Mark DeRosa said after his coaching staff and players stayed up telling stories and celebrating after the 5-3 victory over Mexico.

Rooting for Italy to win big time. You don't need Mexico to just score 5 runs, you need them to score 5+ earned runs.

In short, we either need Italy to win or Mexico to score 5+ runs tonight

What a freaking joke of a manager. But also, did nobody in the organization look at the lineup before the game and say, "Hey buddy, you know we still need to win, right?"

Let's be real, USA should've still won with the line-up that was put out. Not like we had a bunch of minor leaguers on the field.
Everybody overlooked Italy (coaches, players, and fans) and thought it would be an easy win.

So if Mexico is winning something like 3-2 in the 8th inning, do they and Italy agree to not score again and both advance and totally **** the US?

Probably.
But the US had a chance to clinch and didn't. Can't blame anyone else.
