He has social anxiety disorder and has been managing it with Zoloft for years now. He doesn't like doing interviews but it seems to be a non-issue now.Ag_07 said:

Even though the disorder was treated and has all but been minimized years ago, it still seems to come up when discussing Greinke. Maybe it's because he is different, with his quiet, seemingly disinterested demeanor, and dry monotone delivery when answering questions.
The twitter thread that someone posted previously stated that he only talks with the media on days he pitches. I do not know if that is still currently true or how that will be dealt with now that he has been traded.

He's had his ups and downs in the postseason, but I love that he's got experience. 67 inning in Oct is big. He's never pitched in a WS though. Let's change that. Also, we have to 100% make sure he's pitching at least once at an NL park during the WS. He's an edge without the DH.

Pitch him game 3 in Dodger stadium and that should line him up to pitch a possible game 7.
that depends a lot on how the ALCS goes. Where we are in the rotation at the end of the series and the layover to the start to the World Series.
Only question that none of us know the answer to is "do his anxiety issues make him not the ideal game 7 starter?"
I thought I read that the Yankees were on the no-trade list because of the pressure that comes along with that. If that's the case, maybe he's your Game 2/ Game 6 guy.... or Game 1/ Game 5 if you're going to force his bat into the lineup in the WS.
Also could be nothing, just something to think about in the future.

I don't think anxiety issues affect his on field play
I think it's more the reporters/public speaking part of it
I think this is the year they miss the WS. They're the best team in the NL, no doubt, but going to the WS 3 years in a row is so rare.Water Turkey07 said:
