Obviously has a lot of potential at the plate and on the mound, but there now more question marks on the mound with the UCL issue.
I don't have issue with anyone signing him, even the Rangers. It would be worth realizing that with the $20M posting fee, it does make him an expensive item to add if he is 3 years out due to injury.
Regarding the plate. He had ankle surgery, as well (which was known). So, now you have a pitcher with elbow issues... a hitter with ankle surgery who is a projection to play DH.
