I have been saying for years that the officiating in the NBA is the worst of any major sport and it is not even close. The sad part is Silver and his cronies don't even attempt to fix it. I wish we could pinpoint what happened and when to get to this because it wasn't always this way. The basketball I grew up on wasn't some glorified WWE production

The way the game is played now makes it hard to watch. I can't even dig in for a whole game when two juggernauts are going at it in the playoffs. It's a shame.

I was a huge fan of the rockets when I was in elementary school during the mid 90's when they had their Clutch City run. I haven't followed much since I graduated from college, but this made me grin ear to ear.

KAT is the guy who could just go bruiser mode on VW in the paint, not care at all about scoring, and be the low-key MVP of the series.

Also pretty hilarious watching a NY fan takeover happen in the 4th

I think it was more the 70s-90s wordmark actually only had the R as upper-case but all the letters were the same height so the e and t stood out as odd/ The new t is an homage to that

That's why like 1/3rd of the seats last night were Knicks fans. Way cheaper to fly to Texas and get good seats than sit in nose bleeds in MSG. Plus churros and busty latinas.

Oh yeah…it is Sampson.

Speaking of older players…has anyone gone to the site to "82-0.com"? It randomly selects 5 franchises and decades from the nba past and you have to put together the best starting 5 from those franchises to go 82-0. You can play it as many times as you want. It's pretty addictive.

The manager is the Houston comedian Mo Amer . The guy in the space suit doing the windows at the end is Slim Thug.

Elvin Hayes (age 88) is sitting with Rudy in the booth. Rudy is 77. He turned into a scary mobster guy over the last 20 years somehow.

Definitely Ralph with Dream. Ralph was in town recently to do some PR on the 40th anniversary of his shot to beat the Lakers in 86.

The customer isn't Mario. Not sure who it is. I feel kinda dumb for not knowing if it's someone famous.
