Realistically, as long as there are no serious injuries to key rotational players throughout this season, I think the Mavs have a chance at winning the NBA title. In a year like last year where we had many injuries throughout the regular season and still finishing 5th in the west and an NBA finals berth, you can imagine the possibilities for this year's team.

With a Dereck Lively sophomore year leap (and hopefully some three point shooting from him), just his production alone should help this team drastically. Making some key additions in the offseason picking up Grimes and of course Klay Thompson, the shooting depth has improved even more, and the Mavs will have elite floor spacing on top of the shot creation from Luka/Kyrie.

When discussing the loss of DJJ, replacing his spot with Naji Marshall was a genius move by Nico Harrison. We were able to get him for cheap, and his production should be similar, if not better than what we saw out of DJJ. Marshall's ability to hit open threes, and his defensive upside are huge for the second unit and a great replacement for Jones.

Hopefully, with a healthy season, I see this Mavericks team winning their second championship within the next two years. There is no doubt our front office believes that this team's championship window is upon us, and hopefully the guys can rally behind an MVP season by Luka. So excited to see this roster mesh and I believe we have enough to take us all the way. Go Mavs!

Lame that Kyrie is a late scratch tonight for rest, but at least we get to see more Goatman.

Well they said Kyrie wouldn't be playing, but I guess he is.

Are we underestimating the Dinwiddie signing? Especially with the Exum injury, but Dinwiddie gives minutes for either Kyrie, Klay, or Hardy. He could be huge if anybody goes down, or help us steal wins during planned rest for stars.

He's definitely good for depth, but he is not the same player he was the last time he was with the Mavs. The 12 months he was with the Mavs is actually the outlier for his career. He's looked pretty terrible in the preseason too.

You'd rather have him than a young guy when there are injuries, but he's going to be mostly DNP when the backcourt is healthy.

Not there was ever much doubt, but Luka practiced fully today, so doesn't seem like there should be any issues for the opener on Thursday.

Also Maxi practiced after having a sprained ankle since the very start of camp.

Bummer that we couldn't lock up Grimes for a few more years, but we should get a good season out of him now that he's officially in a contract year.

Already run a Plex server, bought a HD Homerun Duo and an antenna and will use that to make my own stream as well as stream it to friends/family that don't have the channel.

They came out with a stream app this week. It's $125 for the year or $15 per month. Initially it's going to run off the nba app and then eventually will be on a new app for the mavs.

That's only if you are in the Mavs market though. Make sure you are in the Mavs tv market before paying for it. If you are outside the Mavs market, then you can watch through League Pass.

Yeah that was really surprising from them. The Lakers were 5/30 from 3 and shot 44% from the field, but still controlled the game.

Another move incoming for the wolves still, I imagine.
