Doncic looks like he's going to be a superstar. No doubt. However, is it necessary to have an orgasm every time he passes the ball to a wide open teammate? If this was the first game I've ever seen I'd think he invented basketball by the reaction of the broadcast crew.

Meh. It's just boring to watch teams jack up 3s all game long. It looks like a YMCA out there at times. I'm not surprised ratings are down a bit. It is ironic that ratings are down at a time when the overall talent level is at an all time high.
This team is such a drag. I would say that at least there is hope in our young players but even they are all disappointing. Blow it up. Don't give a damn about having a puncher's chance at the playoffs.

They did just hold Dallas to 102. Nobody was getting "torched". Overall the defense has been pretty good lately..

Another blown lead
Forbes and Mills both had rough nights - 2-17, 1-12 from 3 between the two of them. Tough to overcome.
And the schedule only gets tougher this month.

They were both really bad tonight, and I definitely agree that Forbes needs his minutes cut back. Patty has been good this season coming off the bench.
Patty got off to a good start but he has leveled off lately. His avg stats really aren't far off from last year. Still a massive defensive liability.

He is, but you gotta get those minutes from someone. It's one thing to cut one their minutes significantly (Forbes) and play Walker more, but if you cut Patty's too, who would you play there? Patty still brings more to the floor than Forbes, even when he's not hitting his shots because he handles the ball and is a much better passer.
It's not ideal, but it's what we got.
I agree that our options are limited. That's why I think some moves need to be made.

Yeah don't know why Demarre hasn't even really gotten a shot. I do think Lonnie will continue to get more and more minutes as the season progresses.

Pop is apparently a fan of him due to his performance during Team USA, and the Lakers (Lebron) might have some interest in teaming up with someone like Derozan. No idea how the money would work, but Kuzma is owed only $1.9M this year and $3.5M for next year.

I'd love to swap Demar for Kuzma, but Demar is making about the same amount as Anthony Davis. Really hard to make the money work on that.

Kuz makes under 2mm and the only player that makes over 5mm that isn't Bron/Davis is Danny Green.
Kuz+Green could get you back about 20mm in salary, but Green would be a really tough rotational piece to lose. They lack quality shooting and certainly don't want to lose a great defensive wing along with their most prolific 3pt shooter. Yep, Green leads the Lakers in 3 pointers made.
But anyway, Patty+Carroll gets Green+Kuz done. Get it Pop!
