How is Lonnie playing?
He had 11 points in 13 minutes off the bench and spurred a comeback that eventually gave us the lead. Tell us more about your scouting credentials.

That brought his career scoring average up to 2.2 ppg. His 5-8 night brought his career FG% up to a blistering 37%. He still has twice as many DNPs as FGs in his career.
It looks like his scouting is pretty similar to Pop's

Career averages for a guy who barely gets any playing time or get consistent run? I'm no John Hollinger, but that's just dumb.

About as dumb as using one 11-pt game as evidence a kid averaging 2 mpg (for the games he actually gets in at all) on a bad team had somehow turned the corner
Look, we all hope the Spurs found another late-draft gem, but so far the hair is Lonnie's only impressive game. It's not like he's collecting DNPs because he's waiting his turn behind a backcourt full of HoFers

He played the last minute of the game.

Only lost by 34 at Detroit.
Yeesh, time to blow it up.
.Quote:
DeMar DeRozan is averaging an efficient 21.6 points per game, but he is a big part of the defensive problems that are sinking the Spurs. San Antonio allows 115.0 points per 100 possessions with DeRozan on the floor, which would rank dead last in team defensive rating. When DeRozan rests, the Spurs allow 104.2 points per 100 possessions, which would rank 12th in the league.
