Bryn is killing us right now. He's gone ice cold shooting the ball and our already poor spacing is getting even worse. And it's not like he's having to squeeze off tough shots, he had plenty of really good looks tonight and went 1-8.
Our 3 point shooting has fallen off from last year which is no surprise after losing Bertans. Forbes is about to play himself off of the starting lineup. Like Marco, if he's not shooting decently he really hurts this team.
But what it really boils down to is our defense, not being able to get stops down the stretch. Given our personnel, that's just not gonna change. Rudy and DD's effort on defense towards the end of the game tonight was atrocious.
Just play the young guys a bunch and make them make mistakes to improve and build chemistry. It's not like this present group has shown any signs they can click. What's sad is that it's basically the same team as last year! DeJounte aside.

About as dumb as using one 11-pt game as evidence a kid averaging 2 mpg (for the games he actually gets in at all) on a bad team had somehow turned the corner

No one claimed he turned the corner. Mookie is a jackass who has written off Lonnie since we drafted him. He shot his mouth off on a night when he played well and showed flashes of his huge potential.
Betcha he gets traded
Played the best game of the season by far. Especially on the defensive end. If they play like that consistently they can climb back up the west.
It's a make or miss league. Spurs go 5 for 29 from 3 against the Twolves and lose. Then go 14 for 34 against the Clips and win. I agree the defense looked good for the most part. Clips weren't ready for this game and I'll take it.
Btw, Kawhi has turned into a whiny beach under Doc's tutelage. I dont think he missed a single shot the whole game where he wasnt protesting the non call profusely. Just pathetic.
I'm certain Kawhi was a ***** before he made it to the clippers.

It was pretty bad. Defense was god awful and we went back to not being able to make anything from 3. White and Murray were both terrible tonight.
LMA didnt play and their bigs dominated.

Holy **** that was a fun game. How about the charges our guys took tonight? Demar even sacrificed and took the charge on Harden to win it. Jakob Poeltl was absolutely fantastic tonight: 6 points, 15 boards, another 5 block performance, along with 5 assists to top it off. Lonnie Walker has been playing well the last few games and absolutely went off tonight. 28 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 block, hit the 3 to send it to OT, and was tasked with guarding Harden. This is what gets spurs fans so excited about him, and hopefully Pop will continue to let him get more minutes.
What an awesome comeback; finally Harden doesn't get a call. Love seeing it
So this team beats the Clippers, gets blown out by nearly 40 to the Pistons, then we come back from down 22 to beat the Rockets. Very bipolar.
