Wow, didn't expect to lose Ariza. That hurts as he obviously brought defense and three point shooting to the starting 5. Though the 0-12 shooting comes to mind.

Really? I thought it was foregone consensus that Ariza was likely moving on.

Sucks to lose him, but not really a good way to keep him with Paul and Capela needing to be signed.

Out of Paul, Capela, and Ariza, Ariza was always most most likely to leave. He'll be missed but I'm not worried about losing what he brings to the table. It's an opportunity to get younger.

Talent wise, I agree. But I think he brought a lot to the table off the court. Probably why Phoenix wants him.

Cutting Melo saves OKC $91mm. Melo also wasn't invited to the Russ party last night.

But yeah, Melo is not exactly a guy I would want to replace a good defender like Ariza.

Makes perfect sense when you consider the Melo rumor. Melo will take all of MKGs shots and MKG will cover his man plus Melo's.
