Game Memphis.



Grizz kept a lead anywhere from 12-20 most of the night but Nets got it down inside 10 in the last 2 minutes to make for a little drama.

Z-bo with a dunk and a 3 in tonights game. Wonder how often that's ever happened?

Little nugget on the Grizz-OKC game tonight:

The Grizzlies and Thunder have met 39 times (including postseason) since the start of the 2009-10 season. Memphis leads the matchup, 20-19, since then. That is the second-most meetings between any two teams in that span behind only the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers. Those teams locked horns 40 times.

In about 2 minutes, the Thunder extended a 3 point lead to 16 with about 3:00 left in the half. Back to back 3s in transition by Durant and just a bunch of missed shots by the Grizz. Durant hasn't missed from the floor and the Grizz can't buy a 3 or a 2.

They are just a different team at home with their full complement of players.

18 point halftime lead by OKC. Grizz shooting about 30% and OKC up over 50%. 21-6 run to end the half by OKC with the Grizz missing 11 of 13 during that stretch. Not a good formula to get to the 40th win.

Ass decisively kicked tonight.

Thunder remind me of last year's Grizzlies when they had to recover from Gasol being out and just played nearly every single game so well and focused.

I feel like when Collison plays like he did tonight, the Thunder win. Without fail.



And the Grizz-Thunder record after 40 games goes to 20-20.

Interesting tidbit in today's commercial appeal about Zach Randolph. It discussed how he was raised by his mom (who is very ill), and his real father was actually from Memphis, but ZBo never found out about him until this past July.

No Fastlane tonight. The presence of Sting-HHH almost got me there, but I decided to stay home.


Great defense tonight in the 4th quarter...15 points.

Clearly helped by no Aldridge, but they got the win. They have won 8 of 9 from Portland.

Just finished watching the 4th quarter. I'm excited they beat Portland and Flops on back to back nights, but I also realize they did it without Aldridge and Fake in the lineups. Still, love beating the Flops.

Not a great game, and it was one of those rare 3-technical games, and shockingly, DeMarcus Cousins didn't get any of them.

They do not play well in Sacramento, and I think there are so many tough and competitive games in the West, it isn't surprising that playoff teams drop games to the Kings, Jazz, and even Lakers.


Rudy played pretty well.

They don't play well in Sacramento, ever. And rarely put teams away until last minute. I think grizzlies are horrible team to bet on.

I also think George Karl will be having a positive impact on their team.

Egg laid tonight. I thought maybe we had them rattled early with the early technicals they got, but bad offensive night and the Clips just wanted it more tonight from start to finish. Had no sustained energy tonight and have been kind of playing in "fits and starts" since the All Star Break, just fortunate that we got it together in the 2nd halves of those first two games in Portland and LA.

Deandre Jordan with a monster game on the boards and schooled us tonight. Happy for him as an Aggie kicking some ass in the league, but **** the Floppers.

Need to beat the Twolves tomorrow.
