as much as everyone is spending in general to attend these games, just bite the bullet and purchase the overpriced blue lot parking. It's close to the stadium/fan area and offers a quick exit to 610 post game.

we might do that....or we might just park at the fannin south metro station. supposedly only $50. Not as expensive as the fifa rip-off lots....and instead of waiting in line in traffic leaving those lots we'll sit in the a/c in the stadium like we did. then hit the southbound line and get in our car. Jump to 288 and gone

what I also noticed was no parking at the HLSR lots where astroworld was. Made me realize FIFA and houston didn't want to allow parking there. Enables FIFA to charge more for parking and forces folks onto Metro

If I were not going to leave the match as soon as it ended to get to the Metro, then I would probably park at TMC Smithlands. It's only $30 and not too far a walk.

The blue lots are busy but not packed. I think the high cost has understandably forced people to look for other options, and a lot of people are hanging around at the fan fest, etc., so there isn't the post-event traffic jam you would expect. We did park on the right side as you pull in, so we could make one quick turn to exit and would do so again just in case, but it wasn't necessary.

I have 82 y/o grandma with me....can't do a ton of walking....especially at 2pm in Houston on pavement

Not sure if it's an option in Houston, but maybe try a cab?

There was a cab line in both KC and Miami. While we had to wait for an hour in Miami, we weren't crammed in with everyone and the walking was minimal from our seats

FYI They did have match day scarves, although they didn't arrive at the stadium in Houston till after kickoff… They are also not as nice as the ones they had for the group stage (more of a generic scarf that's screen printed), although that's understandable with the quick turnaround required. The match day shirt was same as they had in group stage.

I went to the match in Houston yesterday as well. My plan was to take the train downtown and go over to the Fan Fest area to watch the other games.

The line was insane and it was just too hot. After about 15 minutes I changed plans. I walked over to Fannin and called an Uber. It was there in ten minutes and was $25 to EaDo. I dont recommend the train unless you plan to leave the match a little early.

GTFO. People could get on Stubhub right now and get better seats for $730 for 4 or $676 for 2.

I would not trust any of those posts.
I don’t say this in a braggedocious way. But it’s true. I’ve been right about everything.

Oh for sure - but that one in particular struck me as odd due to agtag + stars.

And since over the years I've both bought and sold tickets on here at great prices amongst fellow Ags, this pissed me off.

I've only looked at the FIFA marketplace on my phone and unless I'm just a moron, I don't see a way to filter by price or anything beyond the category. And it is difficult to use the map to look at the seats.

Does getting on a proper computer make it easier to find seats by price? Or other ways to make it easier?

Looking for 4 tickets to the Canada Morocco match tomorrow if anyone is looking to offload some. Trying to avoid fees but will go to secondary market if there's no one here

Get on an actual computer and zoom in. You can see prices by seat. No real filter tho.

I got to volunteer in Arlington today as a ticket scanner. Lunch break perfectly timed up with Egypt's goal in the first half, and we spent all of extra time and PKs in the concourse preparing to help fans exit. The Australian fans were incredibly nice even after losing and the Egypt fans showed up! The party was on in the stadium for an hour after the match ended. It was awesome!

You should be able to hover over the sections to see the lowest price in each section and that's a very small help in finding which ones to zoom into.

But yes, their marketplace is a total POS.

I went to COSM in Dallas and watched this game. What an awesome way to watch WC games. My first time there and we had a blast. Really did feel like we were in the stadium.
