We looked like a team that had our playmaker playing up op for 85% of the match. Dominated possession and their chances all came on the break. Would preffered a goal or two earlier, but Fulham are a quality side and put up a good fight.

Good 3 points in Match One. Thoughts on players that stuck out (good or bad):
Rashford looks energized, he was very involved and looked a threat all night.
Fernandez is such a beautiful passer, really need to have him not up top, when he dropped deep we were much more dangerous.
Garnacho was dangerous on attach. He looked better than Diallo tonight, but so nice to see those two out there and no Antony near the pitch.
Zirkzee looks like the real deal, big presence and willing to drop and get involved, great footwork.
Mainoo had an effective, if not spectacular game.
Dalot is more dangerous on the right than the left today, but he did good work. Mazraoui was solid on defense.
So nice to have a healthy Martinez back in defense. I thought he and Maguire were very solid tonight.
Casemiro lost some weight, and looks better, but he is still slow. We have to replace him.
Mount was not much of a factor, I wonder if he and Fernandez had switched positions tonight if that would have been more effective? We have to find a place for him.
Other than a few loose clearances, Onana looked good, made the saves he was expected to.
