Frustrating to drop points but considering we were down to 10 and still had a chance of winning says a lot about this team. The fact that Fulham had their entire team in the box blocking shots at the end shows how scared they are of Liverpool. Lastly, Antonee Robinson is the best LB in the EPL

Pep Lijnders and RB Salzburg have parted ways.

Does he just not have what it takes to be the full-time manager? Not that winning the league anywhere is easy, but RB Salzburg don't really have any competition in the Austrian Bundesliga and he has them in 5th (out of 12) and they are stinking it up in the CL too.

Klopp takes over Red Bull in a few weeks. They went ahead a did it so that Klopp didn't have to!!

Chelsea is a wagon....they are going to be our biggest obstacle. Love their manager....he's got them rolling.

Liverpool under Klopp were a great team because of the raw energy our guys poured into the game. They fought like lions every game and ran to exhaustion....every game. Only Klopp can inspire that dedication and effort. Without Klopp that same set of tactics is suicide.

The more you watch Arne Slot, the more you understand Pep's short comings. Tactics clearly weren't the source of our success, it's was Klopps father-like figure that lifted us to a higher level. Arne has gotten the same (or better) results with calmer tactics and less running. Pep has no idea how to do that, nor can he be the same cult hero as Klopp. Unfortunately, his ceiling is as an assistant manager.

I've been seeing that Salah is "close to signing an extension" stuff around the interwebs for a few weeks now. I'll believe it when they announce it. I hope they get VvD and TAA done soon too. That is all I want for Christmas. 3 new contracts for 3 of our best players.

That's a perfect summation of that game! Easy and dominating first half. It was quite obvious that the plan was to get some minutes to a few senior guys and then yank them off no matter what the score was. Thankfully we were up and held on. Good minutes for the young guys.

Thierry Henry, for me, is the best striker to ever play in the PL. He played with speed, elegance, and a ruthlessness that I think every attacker aspires to be.

We are witnessing greatness. And I am so glad Mohamed Salah is a Red (for at least another 6 months).

What little hope I had of re-signing Salah to an extension is quickly diminishing to nil with each passing day. He can sign a pre-contract in 9 days. All I want for Christmas is to be proven wrong and for Liverpool to sign all three players to an extension. So enjoy the ride, gents. Greatness like this is hard to find

While we are at it, we need to extend lucho as well.

Slot is trying him out as a false 9 and the results are Firminoesque. He and Szobo were tearing up the middle of the park yesterday. It almost seemed like there were 13 in red. Great game, top of the league for Christmas!
