Stellini's job up in the air per media. There's six games left. Honestly don't understand the point of sacking him at this point unless they think it will preserve Europa or Conference league play. Pretty sure they aren't catching ManU for the final CL spot. Currently in 5th with home game against ManU on Thursday, a road game against AV who is in 6th and a road game against Liverpool who is in 7th.

Recent form is awful so decent chance to drop below 6th at this rate.

after the wide open Kane one, it became pretty apparent they have completely given up

This 2nd half has looked like a completely different squad. Open play, creativity. Don't think we'll win, but Spurs look so much better.

Didn't expect points here. Can't complain. Top 4 is still out but Europa would be nice.

Dier was at his best when he played more of a defensive mid many years ago. He is actually decent when supporting the attack. He's not a great last man back.

You can practically taste Europa Conference league.

I'm hopeful we can make 5th at get into Europa League, but several people on LWoS don't even want that. I disagreed initially, but maybe it would be better to miss out on that or conference league to focus on the PL and FA cup?

Count me as one who is on "Team Domestic" for 2023-24. I normally would be ok with Europa, but I think we need to really rebuild next season and focus on the league and knockout tourneys. Our lack of depth has been exposed and I just don't think we can sustain the match load next season, IMO.

And I would love to be wrong.

We need the money from playing in Europe, don't we? I know we're probably selling Kane, so we'll have that money, but we need some European cash (or a new, Saudi owner) if we want a meaningful rebuild

Everton beating Brighton helps, though Brighton still has 2 games in hand and only 2 points back.

They play Arsenal and Newcastle away and host Man city as 3 of their 5 remaining games though.

So I'm intruding a bit here, but this came across my Twitter (and many of yours, I'm sure) and I have to agree.

IMO the choice between something and nothing is always something. Get extra money. Group stage and early knockouts are a great opportunity for playing time for guys who never sniff a starting 11.

If you happen to advance deep and are also in a Top 4 dogfight then you can make some hard choices about what's more important, but I think to Kane's point, winning any kind of trophy could get a pretty big monkey off your back. And be a really nice way to round out a debut season for your new coach.

I'm glad to see this lineup again.

Also, unchanged is a bit of a misnomer but I understand they mean from last week, but this lineup is a big change from most of the season.
