And Sporting CP (Lisbon) destroyed Frankfurt 3-0 in Frankfurt. Frankfurt was the Pot 1 team in our group after winning Europa League last year.

Still can't believe we got the draw we did.

We got the worst team in Pot 1, the 2nd worst in Pot 3 and Marseille was middle of Pot 4.

Technically in Pot 1 Milan is worse than Frankfurt based on UEFA coefficient but Frankfurt finished like 11th in Bundesliga last year at least Milan won the Serie A title.

That Europa League title got Frankfurt too much cred and in over their head imho.

We were terrible in the first half. Richarlison was a turnover machine, though in general, Marseille were great at taking the ball away from us.

Kane was not great. He should have laid a ball off to Sonny at the top of the box unmarked. He should never, ever, ever, ever take a free kick - we have Son and Dier in our squad! Heck, there are probably other players on our squad who are good at free kicks that we don't even know about.

Son drawing that foul for the red card changed the game. Kulusevski coming on changed the game. Pretty awesome that Richarlison got a brace in his first ever UCL game.

Yeah QEII will lie in state at Westminster from Wed-Sun and laid to rest Monday the 19th so it is understandable.

We've played well, just havent finished....only real complaint is Royal...he gets a ton of chances, poor crosses, not much defense, and IMO the weak link

Not sure how that could be classified as playing well. Against what should be a far inferior opponent we had very few legit chances and could not posses the ball. Frustrating to have the people up front we have and struggling to score so routinely.
