Yes they are better than us. Yes, we are not very good. However, who knows, maybe we beat them like we did last year. We weren't any good last year and beat them. I wouldn't bet on it, but strange things happen.

I've rang up the missed catches and opportunities to score and it's up to about 28 points- fumbles, dropped passes, missed coverages, etc. The only cohesiveness today is Haynes King getting in there and running out of the pocket to make plays. It's embarrassing to watch this team, nobody is stepping up and making things happen. That includes the coaches. Playcalling has been atrocious, I think a Rutgers defense from 1919 would hand our ass to us.

So many points left on the board today. Disappointing to see turnovers in the red zone and INTs off of dropped passes. We easily could have won today, and that's what sucks the most.

Regardless, love this team and hope we can keep it close next week. Gig em.

I don't think he's a bum. But he's a horrible offensive coach, regardless of what his reputation was.


Jimbum is a bum of a head coach. Or at least as an offensive coordinator.
I guess your definition and my definition of bum is different. But I get why everyone's frustrated right now. He's getting paid way too much for this.

There are also multiple times a game where teams bring 6 in blitz knowing Achane can't block to save his life. That doesn't help a shaky pass protecting line. As great as he is with the ball in hand this offense would be better with more 2 back formations.

Achane put a rusher on the ground right at Max AJ's feet, and Max held the ball so long that the guy had time to stand up and tackle him.

Not really. No protection at all in this game. A few bad throws are not the problem in general.

Oline stinks in a bad way. Jimbo takes to long to call a play. QBs are playing with free rushers in their face. Jimbo has failed to develop and utilize talent.

If we blocked better and didn't turn it over twice, we would have won by 37. He just have to grow up and execute. Our staff works hard to coach these kids up, and they have to show that practice creates habits. Like, we have to play with more grit and intelligent. We can have all but one, and it doesn't matter. Have to have them all. We have to be perfect! That isn't on the coaches or strategy, it's on the players. We will go back to practice (practice, we talkin' bout practice) and work to get better. If Max didn't get hurt, we probably win by 2. You know, things happen. It's not the coaches fault. The players have to seize opportunities. Like the fumble changed the game. Had we not done that, MSU might have scored 7 less. Like, we will work to see who we really are. There is a lot of football left. Our goals are still out there, the season is still out there…
