I don't know if it would be smart to put in Weigman but what good would it be to have him sitting the bench for 2 seasons and see him in the portal for the third season when it's unknown if he could bring some fire to the offense. When something is not working make a change.

I'm 62. I've been watching and going to A&M games since I was in grade school. This could be the worst Aggie offense I have ever seen. Take away Achane and this offense might never find the endzone.

I am not going to speak about the offense (I think y'all got that covered)
But the defense is schematic nightmare. He is outnumbered vs the run, he can't get pressure when he drops 8 and they are completing many passes in the underneath coverage so the extra defender isn't doing any good. When he brings pressure, he telegraphs it and its easy for the offense to be ready for it. We line up in the same look no matter the offensive personnel. When you line up like cones the offense will treat you like cones. What I mean is they will move the cones to where they want and get a numerical advantage (App state did it over and over). We are lucky to have some of the best "cones" in college football though which makes up for the fact they are put in impossible positions frequently (especially upfront and mainly to 2 linebackers). Thank god we have great players is all I am going to say and pray Leach doesn't decide to go 2 back and gash us and keep our offense off the field for the majority of the second half like he did in the first.

Agree on the telegraphing. When we bring up a linebacker, Leach/Rogers just call a run or draw play to the opposite gap. It seems to work for 5+ yards every time.
