Smallish 3 star defensive tackle....maybe a few years ago but not now. Our recent successes in getting 4 and 5 star players at this position allow us to be more selective.

It's well known that Jaray Bledsoe is a grade risk. Honestly, I'm not sure how he can even get admitted to tu without some fancy grade accounting. My gut tells me that Fisher believes that we are going to land better DTs and guys who can get into A&M. 10-15 years ago we would of had to take Bledsoe but luckily now we are in a position that we don't have to take grade risks.

This is the main reason that Bledsoe was no longer a take for us, I'm sure we could've figured the grades thing out too if we wanted to. We're shaping up to likely bring in the best DL class anyone has seen since Clemsons a few seasons back, but even better.

It's very telling when a guy that is not even a take for us is sips highest rated prospect of their class.

These recruits are definitely paying attention to this huge contract extension with Jimbo. It only bodes well for these elite players in this class that Jimbo is after.

With our epic defeat of Bama and 3+ silent commits, we have another huge list of big time targets coming into town this Saturday for another night game at Kyle.

5* WR Evan Stewart
5* DE Shemar Stewart
5* LB Harold Perkins
#1 QB Conner Weigman
5* RB Rueben Owens
5* DL Anthony Hill
5* DL Walter Nolan
5* S Jacoby Mathews
5* DJ Hicks
4* Omari Amor
4* Johnny bowens

Then multiply that list x2 and then you have the amount of recruits coming to town. + many of our other commits such as bobby Taylor and Noah Thomas.

Big weekend ahead and potential to reel in some big timers. Who's up next?

Wiltfong just gave CB for Shemar Stewart to A&M. Hope that's right, but Bear had CBs pointing to A&M too. I hate losing Bear to UGA, but at least with him having committed, it might hurry things up for some of the other big time DL recruits. Stewart is a hoss and I'd absolutely love to see him on our D Line.
