Kyle Allen is 2-0 against former Aggie QBs.
Kyle Allen could very well have the best NFL career of all Aggie QBs.

That is a sad indictment of our history (lack thereof) of producing NFL QBs. No offense to Kyle.LatinAggie1997 said:RealTalk said:

Based on what? Kyle is 5-1, Kyler is 3-5NoahAg said:

LOL. I don't hate either of them, but I'm not gonna claim them as "Aggies." Bottom line: They both quit on their team before the season was over.infinity ag said:mugwurt said:Based on what? Kyle is 5-1, Kyler is 3-5NoahAg said:

Based on Noah's personal hatred for Kyle. KA left the team to escape the toxic freak show that Sumlin ran and now many of us here blame him for fighting the bad cards he was dealt with and trying to make something of himself.
I am rooting for Kyle. And Kyler.
He could. I really didn't think he had much shot at it. Good for him.LatinAggie1997 said:RealTalk said:

At this point, I would guess a fair number would, certainly those who don't run a KK style offense. The few Cardinals games I have watched, 90% of Kyler's passes were screens or under 5 yards.NoahAg said:LOL. I don't hate either of them, but I'm not gonna claim them as "Aggies." As for their careers, of course Kyle has a better record. He's on a better team, with better players around him, with a better coach. If you conducted an anonymous poll of NFL coaches how many would take Kyle over Kyler?

Kyle Allen is the football version of Alex Caruso, change my mind.
And pretty unlikely Cam ever returns to the Panthers...mugwurt said:
Looks like Cam Newton is out for the season, so KA will be starting the rest of the year.

Can you explain what you mean by that first? I don't see the correlation.

Kyle Allen didn't quit on his team. He quit on a coach he should have quit on. Forcing him to play injured, publicly blaming him, etc., I have nothing but admiration for a 5 star who tells his crap coach to shove it. Same goes for Kyler. If you are mad at anyone it should be Sumlin. Running two extremely talented QB's off is inexcusable.

I hear he invited Taggart over and they had quite a chuckle about it..TheWoodsAg said:
In all fairness, Sumlin completely fubar'd the QB room at A&M and as a result we gave him a $15 million check for it.

Hmmm...was Caruso a 5* recruit?
As I've stated before, Kyle Allen has a much better arm than Kyler Murray. That said, Murray would likely have been better under Sumlin, but Allen would be fantastic under Jimbo.
I'm not sure why Sumlin even wanted the top rated pro-style QB for his system.

I don't know, Gary Kubiak had a pretty good career. How many QBs can claim they held the clipboard for John Elway.

KA, being a typical pocket passer, would be in higher demand.

Bwahahaha well what about all the defensive players Sumlin recruited here? That went on to the NFL
Davante Harris, Dashawn Hall, Myles Garrett, Zay Henderson, Armani Watts, Justin Evans, Donovan Wilson, Otaro Alaka, Tyrell Dodson, Brandon Williams, Kingsley Keke,!
yep, the bloom came off the rose about 6 weeks ago.PneumAg said:
This happens all the time in the NFL. An unheralded QB has a great few games, everybody is talking about him, and then he tanks.
Once other teams get 4-5 games of film on a QB who isn't very good, they will start getting the better of him.
