If this is really part of a roll-out on a major initiative, someone's PR acumen should be scrutinized.

Still totally unclear what the fundraising is for. A link in the beginning of the thread would have been helpful. I've exhausted the amount of time I'm willing to commit to finding an answer with nothing to report other than this nugget -

Not at all sure what the hell that means. Near as I can tell its a fundraiser to pay for scholarships and salaries for the high-achieving students and professors who will then solve said "real world" problems.
I'll pass. I mean seriously, have the courtesy to take the time to pitch and sell the idea. Being part of "the biggest card stunt EVAR" didn't quite do it for me.

I helped set up the stunt. It's kicking off a fundraising campaign for the university. It says "If not us, then who?" and "Lead by example" with a couple of aTm logos thrown in on the sides.
