That was so wierd...the write up on the back literally said nothing of meaning. It was just a bunch of fluff words. Is this just some way to stash money and try to get a bigger endowment?

There are several things I have problems with in this message, specifically in the wording and the implications. The use of the word "can" tells me that we couldn't before: "Now we can lead." Why not tell me how our leadership is growing? Why not: "now is the time to put words into action?" One embodies a desire to lead and do. The other isn't even inspiring, and almost implies pity.

"If not us, then who" tells me we can and should lead because there are no other options. That's akin to "pick me because everyone else sucks." Not a good leadership message at all.

Good job, Marketing Department. Way to brand a leadership campaign implying we have no leadership.

I participated. I don't know why the naysayers on here are opposed to scholarships for students and to faculty upgrades.

And thanks to biobioprof for providing this information and some common sense to this issue.

IMO none should go to athletics.
