He was pretty direct that this is going to be a pro-A&M message to get the word out about the new capital campaign. You've got to leave part of it a surprise to give people something to look forward to and try to inject some excitement. It's hype. If it's all drawn out, then it loses a lot of the appeal... You know what a book is about. Do you want to know exactly how the story is going to end? No?
This is just a fun little promotion. Of course, for all of you never-happy "angry ags" that are incapable of excitement, it's yet another thing that you can complain about. I feel sad that you are incapable of enjoying yourself...
what is Pro-A&M for one person does not make it, simply, Pro A&M. Unless you know the specifics on the campaign which have not been made public, how can you claim that they this campaign, and any awareness, are Pro A&M?

Im not necessarily talking about the fundraiser, this will be the largest card stunt in a stadium right? So it'll be on sportscenter and all over the interent, so recruits will see it and see how much people are talking texas a&m, they will be talking about the fundraiser a little, but itll be more abot the card stunt and how a&m did it

Here's the thing Mark, my kid goes to elementary school. It's not a wealthy school. They have had 3 fundraisers this year. They send kids home with info about crappy wrapping paper, or stale cookies, or dumb calendars with puppies on every page.
Here's the thing; the folks they sell that crap to know what they're getting up front. They don't throw money at my kid just for the hell of. You're attempting raise $4 billion but can't tell us exactly what real world issues you're gonna fix with the $. Top that with this secret stunt deal that is so top secret, it's not on txam foundation dot com, & you should expect a little hesitation.

And come on, The Foundation isn't going to do something to embarrass or alienate donors as they kick off a capital campaign.
I expect this to come and go without incident. It will probably even be underwhelming for you with all of the controversy you've attached to it. It's a non-issue. Just like the last "crisis" that TexAgs cried about.

That's still pretty vague. What will the $4 Billion be spent on? Advertising campaigns? Political donations? Are we starting a para-military group to fight the war on drugs?

Last crisis? Like the Seal on the Diploma? That was "Pro A&M" to "Unify" the brand. All it did was drive a wedge in our system. And the result?
I agree with you that the Foundation is more trust worthy than anything our BOR puts forth - even then, I do not blindly follow. After following with the events in Columbia, I do not particularly trust the relationships between pres/chancelor, government, teachers, & BOR. There is bound to be politics and promises made.
Call me cynical - but give me a detailed document where the money is going before you claim it is Pro A&M.
