Kliff. But Holgerson would be great too.

FYI. (I'm not saying this means anything.)

I'll let The Zoo figure out the riddle part, but my bet is that it's Darrell Bevell.

We now have a series of under sized, mobile QBs (TM on the way). Who are they all compared to? Russell Wilson. Who is credited for helping to develop Russell Wilson?

I can't tell if you guys are serious about the "friends in low places" commit. My sarcasm meter is broken.

Doug Meacham attended and played football at OSU at the same time Garth Brooks was attending OSU

Where does he stand on the bevel?

Not sure on the bevel, but I figure that's where the riddle comes into play.

If it's being announced the week of the SEC championship game, that means he's got to be with a college team that is done with their regular season and not in a championship game, or is coaching in the NFL and will stick with the NFL team until the end of the season but wants to get his name out there as early as possible for recruiting reasons.

Or has already been told he or his HC is being let go. Thus Holgersen, maybe.

Holgerson is better than Spav but worse than the others mentioned here.

Absolutely no idea. But have heard good things about Fedora - and he could fit into Rojo's Davinci Code. Right?

Former Texas HS coach with recruiting pipelines. Spread guy who was one of the highest paid OC's in the country (Clemson), former Ag.

That's what I'm afraid of. I hope we don't beat LSU and keep Spav, I'd rather lose the game if it's the only thing that'll get Spav fired.
Good Point! OR, what wins the game for us is an interception by DWilson or DHarris, OR, a PR for six by Kirk, that way it won't be the offense that won it, it will be D or ST credit. Spav still goes and we have pick of the litter for OC.

I loved the tempo he ran the offense with, plus calling trick plays that kept the D off balance...I also loved the way he crossed the tight ends...oh wait, do we have those anymore???

(The only thing we cross these days are our fingers when it's third down and time for a predictable screen.)

Nope...we should be able to do better if that situation arises.

Chad Morris is a great, great offensive coordinator. He is not coming to Texas A&M. He did not leave Clemson to be back as a coordinator after a year. Given what he made at Clemson (one of the first $1M+ coordinators), it would work out to a lateral move.

What an incredibly stupid ****ing post.

Barring a complete offensive collapse over the next 4 games, Spav will be our OC next year.

I really hate to break it to you pot bangers, but that's what's happening, so go ahead and get use to it. Or don't. I really don't give a ****.

Excuse us if we want to strive for excellence in an area not related to bubble screens and the horizontal passing attack.

You can "strive" for what ever the **** you want to, chief. Your "striving" isn't going to change a damn thing.

Spav is our OC. Barring a complete collapse, he's not going anywhere.

Now, you can root for the team and be happy after wins, or you can be miserable ****ty zoo posters who act like the world is ending when we are well on our way to a 10+ win season, something we've only accomplished a few times in the last 20 years.. It's completely up to you, although, I strongly recommend the former, as the latter is pretty insufferable. Some people like being miserable ass holes, though. Different strokes I guess.

"Barring a complete collapse"? That is why this move is being made. There have been *TWO* complete collapses the past two years, and there is only one person who is responsible: Spav. His current skill set and abilities are not up to the job of being an OC in the SEC and going against the best Head Coaches, Best DCs, and best players in college football on a weekly basis. The Peter Principle is at play.

Yet, Spav has a lot of promise. So, how do you salvage a lot of promise and provide a path that avoids another complete collapse next year? Answer: a big time OC that can continue the mentoring process with Spav. Will Spave be "Associate OC", or "Assistant OC", or "QB Coach", after the change is made? That is one of the things being worked out.

Based on the name your hearing will all of these HC openings have an impact on him being available to hire?
