Nike Stride shorts - I wear the 5" and have for years. They have side pockets, plus one in the back. They are hard to find without liners these days, so I just cut the liners out.

I made the regrettable decision to have torchy tacos last night. Sat very heavy for the long run today.

Anyone like the Superblast 3's? I've only ever run in the Nimbus line, but wanted to try something different. I care a lot more about cushion and recovery than speed.

I bought these. My phone and a single packaged wet wipe fit perfectly. Then I tuck it in a pocket of my tights.

Yes, I've had the 3's since they came out. Outside of supershoes and Megablasts, they are my favorite shoes to run in.

Supershoes would be wasted on me. From what I read, the 3's are a good mix of cushion with more response and are lighter. Sounds like they would be a nice fit for what I'm going for.

Started Dallas Marathon training yesterday. Using Hal Higdon's 12 week Boston Bound plan. With a decent base, 12 weeks is plenty and Dallas has a similar elevation profile, especially with regard to the hill climbs at miles 20-21. I've run both and I think Dallas is slightly tougher, but this training plan should work well.

This is my rotation too.

Superblast 3 for easy/steady miles
Megablast for all workouts
Retired supershoes for long runs.

IMO the first 2 are essentially perfect shoes for what I want them for.

Pretty much all of my miles are easy/steady miles. I hover about 10% more effort than a conversational pace most of the time. Whatever that translates to on the clock is what it is. Keeping that level of effort has steadily increased my pace over time.

I might wait to catch them on sale, but they sound like a good shoe to try out.

I've been getting spammed with advertisements for Mount to Coast trail shoes, so will probably give in and buy a pair (H1 or M1).

Normally trail run in Hoka or Salomon, but going to try something new.
Consistency: It's only a virtue if you're not a screw-up.

I love my H1's but they aren't great if it's wet. They get a little slick. They are a great non technical trail shoe though. Just got the M1s but haven't run in them yet.

I'm on a work trip in Vegas and just ran 6 miles with it at 67 degrees out and no humidity. Holy paradise!

I know these aren't what you're looking at, but I love my C1s. I have a half and 200 miles on them. They're just a really good, solid daily runner for me. Super comfortable, even for longer runs.

Anyone running Berlin tomorrow? Or have run Berlin in the past and want to pass along some words of wisdom? Looks like a near perfect start and then a borderline warm ish finish. Looking forward to those summer miles bring fall smiles!
