I should also say, I finished my training classes this past week to become a TASO High School Football Official. I'll be on the field this fall chasing around kids 13-25 years my junior (High School -> youth)

One more motivation to lose the weight and get in shape.

Well after weeks of bad eating and being afraid of the scale I'm back. I will mark this occasion with the "hanging my head in shame" emoticon.

Never, ever, ever tell yourself "I'll get back on track next week." It gives you a feeling like you have the freedom to be really bad since you're about to start eating well on Monday.

Estimated body fat is still under 20% so that's good.

Plan is to go back to weighing in only at the first of the month. Makes the weight loss seem bigger. Going to Cabo April 10 and would like to be 192lbs or fewer. Overall goal is 180 sometime this summer. Then back to adding muscle.

Happy with 234 today.
I didn't even report last week. I have had bronchitis to varying severity for several weeks. They finally put me on some very strong steroids and antibiotics for 10 days. In spite of sticking with my nutrition plan, I gained 8 lbs in 10 days. Once the steroids were finished, I lost those 8 lbs in 5 days and have lost another couple.
I have always thought that steroids caused weight gain because of appetite stimulation. Because of this weight loss regimen I now know that you gain just from taking the darn things. Must be water gain?
Anyway, glad to be over the bronchitis and back on weight loss track.

198.8 today, so up a bit from my last report on Wednesday, but still trending down. Waist measurement is down and that's the important thing. I'll check back in this Wednesday and expect my weight to be down in the mid 195s.

I know you can't circumvent the process and it takes time, but every time I have one of these days there is a TINY part of me that thinks "Sweet, only another two weeks and I'll be down 20 lbs!"

194 this morning, down from 198.1 on Monday.

It ends today though. I'm leaving early tomorrow for a long weekend in NOLA, with zero expectations of a diet.
