My daughter had a volleyball game in The Woodlands this evening. It was canceled....around 4PM.

Really? REALLY?!!

By that time it was abundantly clear nothing more than a little rain was going to happen.

We were 9 or 10 days in Oak Forest. It's what prompted us to get a generator.


What part? I'm in SPP and we were out for a full week. 4 days after the derecho. Got my money's worth out of my generator those 11 days.

"Humble ISD is scheduled to receive the latest information from weather and safety experts in a 7:30 p.m. briefing for school districts regarding the potential impact of Tropical Storm Edouard.

Humble ISD will provide an update regarding Wednesday, Sept. 2, later tonight after evaluating this information. Information will be sent to parents and staff by email and text message and will be posted on the district website."

Lol. Would be absolutely ridiculous if they cancelled a second day for this non-event.

I am in Forest Cove, closer to Kingwood drive. Our issue is that our street is on its own line with maybe 15 houses, so when they think they got power to our neighborhood, they always miss ours. And their system says "kingwood is good". I usually have to call like 10 times to convince them we are still out
