I think we've gotten like 4 inches the last hour in old magnolia. 1488 was over the curbs in town.

And there it is flash flood warning 4 to 6 inches have fallen with more on the way. And it didn't start raining until 5:45

We barely got **** in central Texas. Most places saw 0.75 to 2.0 inches max. The hill country got a lot, then it passed us on by, and looks like its clobbering the 59 corridor all night now.

Interesting Texas weather radar this morning with a line of rain from Laredo to Dallas again. 1.6 inches in Kingwood yesterday and showers early this morning but zero rain 10 miles East of here still.

The drought in the Houston area has been deceptive this summer with a couple one inch rains scattered a month apart keeping some green color in unirrigated places. But there will definitely be more dead trees next spring.

I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'

I was there last night to see Marcus King open. Definitely had a decent rain event. I left before M&S. I wasn't that interested, and I found out the power was out at home, so I went to get the generator running. By the time it was set up and on, the power was back on.

Marcus King Band and Mumford & Sons seems like a weird match. It seemed to be a bunch of high school and college girls there, either in groups, on dates or with family there for M&S. Not really Marcus King's demographic.
