I'm 5 weeks into ownership, not gonna mess with my pump schedule though it currently runs all night (11p-6a - free electricity) and 1-4 in the afternoons

The pool pump question depends on a number of factors. Our pool uses a salt water chlorine generator so I run mine on a low RPM 13 hours a day to ensure proper sanitization for my set up. If you are just filtering, could be a lot less but also function of pump speed and filter.

For storms, I don't do anything different other than ensure I have plenty of liquid chlorine on hand in case I need to dump it in. I always keep a couple of bags of salt too for the dilution the rain causes, but again specific to me.

Seems like it depends on a few factors including how much sun the pool gets, tree coverage, tree debris falling into the pool, probably others.

12-16 hours during extreme heat and sunshine. Regardless of pool size, unless your pump is way oversized.

A lot of schools are closed today and it has barely rained at all. "Abundance of Caution" I guess

Doesn't look like anything happening later tonight that would cause schools to shut down.

That's just some donor son who had a test paper that was due and got the powers to be in Conroe to shut the schools down

In League City…no wind and a couple of drops of rain. cCiSD had early dismissal which was crazy. My kids are Friendswood and no cancellations. Band may even have practice on the field after school.

Baseball practice will feel great tonight with the cloud cover.
