Honestly, gonna be a bit miffed as my corporate bosses decide I need to send emails from headquarters and then sit in traffic as I get drenched.

Looking like all of the schools out east/NE are closing. Lot of those districts have areas with flooding issues.
Humble ISD had a problem a few years ago where they had students stuck at schools for several hours due to flooding in the Kingwood area. They don't want a repeat of that.

Honestly couldn't tell you, just thought it was an interesting take and we definitely seen rapid intensification in the past. Probably worth keeping an eye on if nothing else.
