Ha! Hadn't seen that some are calling it batgirl bc of the "dressy" jubilee. It's a very comfortable bracelet. I wasn't a fan until I tried it on a year ago or so.

Just to make a distinction from the Batman... for brevity's sake "batgirl" over "Batman on a jubilee"

Question here for the board as I enjoy varying points of view and opinions. I'm contemplating moving down to one watch. Currently, I have a minty five digit Datejust and a 214270 MKII Explorer. I'm thinking of changing direction and moving down to one watch as I have a bead on a NOS GMT 116710LN. I've always wanted a ceramic GMT and it fills my need for a watch with a date feature. My only fear is that I will miss the versatility of the two watches as I sometimes take off the jubilee for a leather strap on the Datejust. GMT gives me the option of going from oyster with PLC to a rubber Everest strap.

For Sensei and anyone else that changes their own straps / bracelet: Are the 1.8MM double neck spring bars commonly available on Amazon reliable? Do any of you Rolex wearers trust these things, and yourself to do it correctly, on your expensive time pieces? What about the quick release spring bars? Anybody trust those?

i've never liked the explorer 2, so i say sell that and get the GMT. then you have the classy datejust and the more rugged GMT.

214270 is the Explorer. Much more my style compared to the 216270.

I was thinking the same thing...looks more substantial than I typically see and imagine reverso's to be. I love the red/maroon face. I've been looking for the right dress watch (my version of a dress watch, not the watch world's) and I've narrowed to a Tank MC or a Reverso.

I'm currently rocking a simple black/silver Timex Marlin as my dress watch while I'm taking my time to figure it out ;-)

Dimensions are: 47mm x 28.3mm x 10.3mm

I may have a smaller wrist? Though I'm wearing it on the 2nd to last watch band. I really love the burgundy sunburst dial and pink gold. The white side really pops as well. It goes really well with an Aggie ring which is why I got it in the first place.

There are reversos for much cheaper, but I'm hoping that since it's a 90th anniversary limited piece it appreciates/holds value well.

Tudor released its new additions today: a gold Black Bay 58, a silver Black Bay 58 and a redesigned BB Chrono are the highlights. Looks like they are looking to move the brand a little more upscale.
