Sure, but literally no ice on any roads means we have maximum friction and no debate. I guess if his starting point is north of Texas somewhere then we could be having a different conversation. I'm in the area as previously stated and there is zero ice on the roads. Only ice still remaining are immediately around base of homes where there is still some shade.

Had to use warm water today to make a path on my sidewalk. Still super slick and I nearly ate it last night. Also had to use a shovel to break up the last ice on my driveway. It was 2 inches thick after 3 days of melt in a sunny area.

I found out the hard way that in freezing conditions, warm water actually freezes faster than colder water. You physics folks will have to give the explanation

How "extreme" does the cold have to be. Asking for a friend. With a YouTube channel.

I can't remember if I heated water on the stove or just hot water from the tap, but I poured it on the windshield and drivers side before I left to go pick up a buddy of mine for something.

All right I'm over winter now. It can go back north. This single digits crap needs to go.

You're lucky your windshield didn't crack.

Crazy to still see a few tree covered streets with some ice a week later.
