Roads were totally empty driving McKinney to Dallas. Except for some jackass who drove straight into the wall at 75/Spring Creek in Plano.

Way too early to call it a nothing burger I think. Definitely seems less intense than predicted a few days ago but the activity is only starting.

Weather app said 28 when I posted. Took the dog out and the pool wasn't running. Freaked out a bit and pool temp sensor said 36.

I remember 2021. But, I've seen nothing "pretty big" in SW FW in the last "four or five years" otherwise.

lol the "usual" to which I refer is the forecast for *big snow/ice/accumulation* which then turns into 1-2 days of rain/sleet with an overnight 1-2" of snow that is gone by lunch the following day.

We'll see if this turns out differently than I expect.
