don't have gauges but I bet 2" max. Maybe 2.5 in some areas. It was never a turd floater but a steady rain and very light at some points. Maybe 4-5 hours of that.FTAG 2000 said:
Prosper folks - what sort of total rainfall did you get? Out of town so curious.

Unfortunately the heaviest rainfall fell over Dallas and Tarrant counties. This impacted a lot of people with flooding, but also this area is not part of the watershed for our water districts. This water will actually flow to Lake Livingston and be Houston's water supply. #dfwwx pic.twitter.com/TXSwV7OJa4

After seeing what all stacked up along White Rock Creek afterwards, I'm totally fine with that.Quote:

Not very accurate. The Tarrant Water District owns Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers, which are in that drainage area. The Collective said:

Trinity flows out of Cedar Creek from the southwest side... If the damn is open, water is headed towards Houston.wbt5845 said:Not very accurate. The Tarrant Water District owns Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers, which are in that drainage area. The Collective said:

What a misleading tweet. Lots of the north Texas area saw significant relief due to these storms.
The highs the rest of the week are in the 90s.91AggieLawyer said:rsf0626 said:

Not only that, but after a VERY hot summer, we may not get out of the 80s the rest of August, and have a week to go. And if we do, it will only be by a degree or two.
I'm sure we'll see 90s before the end of the year, though. Then again, maybe not.
Also east texas. Parent's got 7in out at Lake Fork which feeds Dallas. Not to mention Ray Hubbard right on East Dallas's doorstep which got most of the rain.riverrataggie said:
