Fixed a sprinkler line leak yesterday and washed my truck this morning. Doing my part for the cause.
PLAN AHEAD! A lot of rain is coming for many places in Texas! In advance of this welcome rain, there's a few things you can do.

-Check/clear out gutters and drains around your house
-Remove debris from street drains
-Make sure windshield wipers are working well.#dfwwx #txwx pic.twitter.com/x0B4QfwOER

Sorry to be cynical, but this rain event is starting to reach a level of overhype where I now believe a jinx is fully possible.

I have a flight at 6am Tuesday. I'm fully expecting it to be cancelled and my day to be a nightmare.
Replaced a broken sprinkler head today . Will drive Mrs car through the wash later. I'm trying.mosdefn14 said:

Everything staying to the north so far and it appears the rain chances for the rest of the week are starting to diminish. Guess I'll do everyone a favor and go wash my truck!

Based on the forecasts the past several days most of the rain isn't supposed to hit dfw till tonight through Tuesday am. They are still saying 4-6" for most of north Texas through half the state really.
I really hope they are right.

Where are you located?
Highest rain coverage comes over the next 24 hrs. Rain chances go down middle of the week, but not completely gone! Temps stay below season norms. #wfaaweather pic.twitter.com/yBfeSnJsic
