No, its not on you. Some people work weird hours. Some people have things come up -- events they have to attend, people in the hospital they need to visit, etc.

This isn't teenagers out past midnight on the roads doing nothing but being bait for drunk drivers. Pit Bulls roaming free is not a known danger.

Horrifying... I cannot imagine what those parents will feel for the rest of their lives. Except to get rid of personal ownership of pit bull terriers worldwide. Prayers up.

Yesterday. One child nearly lost an ear while another nearly lost his lips. Dog breeds not IDed in news reports but one video shows animal control with a usual suspect in the street on a leash.

You forgot to add that the vast majority of those were in blue cities and were teenagers. Wanna bet they are gang/drug related? Not very comparable.

Edit: Also, pit bulls go off by them selves. Guns don't.

20 - 50 deaths per year. But 1 - 1.5 million pit bull bites a year. And studies consistently show that pit bull bites result in higher rates of severe injury, require more complex surgical interventions, and lead to more hospitalizations than bites from other breeds.

Let your homeowners insurance company know you have a couple of pit bulls on premises and see how long it takes for them to cancel or non renew your policy.

Pits are a definite problem, as a few other breeds such as Rottweilers etc, and minimum you pay more and as stated denied.

An armed populace is essential for a free society. The number of gun deaths has nothing to do with whether or not guns should be legal.

It's crazy to compare that to pit bulls, which are a scourge to all societies, free and otherwise.
