Again, just going by what I am hearing from people very close to the situation.

For what it's worth, Camp mystic is not just one big chunk of land on a single tax ID. There are multiple separate parcels, so the guesses on value associated with it would depend on which parcel is being discussed.

Just gets worse and worse. And people were hoping the Eastlands could open up this summer with over 800 already signed up. I don't get it.

And now - Camp Mystic may be sold.

Put it in a safe place and I am all for it. Mary Grace and 26 others did not have a wonderful camp experience.
And if I as a parent allowed my little girl to go there in the same location after this then I should be charged with negligence.

The key is putting it in a completely safe place under competent ownership. No way a girls camp should have been in that location. And the former ownership is under criminal investigation for manslaughter and negligent homicicde.
And a lot of people wanted the camp to not move and operate under the same ownership. I don't get it.

I hear you and agree. It sounds like they would continue to operate Cypress Lake while still using some portion of the Guadalupe site for non-sleeping activities.
