Ok boomer.

I'll get right on that, after I burn all my 8 tracks to the mp3 players.
My demon woke me up this morning and said bruh, I'm tired... So I handed him a Red Bull and said come on little buddy, we got bridges to burn and chaos to spread.

Yeah, that's a deal breaker and will kill the game. They will reverse that on day 2 if not before launch.

I won't buy it until they reverse it. Not wasting my time on it.

I feel like there is zero chance that is in the game. Forcing your player base to NOT play the game because of crimes committed in a game completely about committing crimes is possibly the stupidest game mechanic of all time.

It's a legit tard decision and I wonder if these guys are trolling.

I think, if done a certain way, it could be fun. Sort of like survival mode in Skyrim or FO4. Not on by default, but enabling can create a new experience. Police corruption, safe houses, getaway planning, etc.

If it's optional, then go for it. That would make much more sense...in effect it's a difficulty setting.

I think they are trying to make it as realistic as possible. Another rumor is it uses AI to remember every thing you do.

You rob a store, the people in the store will remember you and get scared when you come around again in the future.

Hmm, sounds cool on surface, but I don't want to play The Sims version of GTA.

There is a delicate balance between arcade and realism here to maintain. More realism and less fun is not the combo I want.

Wouldn't worry about it. There's absolutely no way that's real.

It should definitely be a game option that can be enabled or disabled.

I'm actually looking forward to more games like this utilizing AI to be MUCH more dynamic and give every action you take more impact in the game world.

I was thinking through this about possibilities for future Elder Scrolls games, but it could also apply to GTA. Imagine the entire game world is a living, breathing ecosystem. Let's say you got into a big gun fight in a particular part of town. Maybe one of the NPC's who lives in that part has a personality that can't take that type of crime in their neighborhood, so they decide to pickup and move to a different neighborhood. Then, later, you have a quest to talk to that NPC and the quest giver only knows their previous location. So you go to the address and find he's not living there anymore. So now you have to interact with the neighbors to find out what happened to him and where he moved.

I find that to be a very Interesting mechanic.

I'm looking forward to an open world AI RPG if they can pull off the logistics.

This was a great watch. My first thought was 16 Min?! but totally worth it, even at 1x speed. 10K bond is crazy (especially Florida).

I have zero faith in Rockstar at this point. Hoping this will be good, edgy, politically incorrect, offensive, and give the player as much freedom as possible just like all of the previous original GTA games, but I don't see it happening with the team now at Rockstar. The GTA Online stuff that has come out recently (from the team making this game) has been poorly written, boring, politically correct, woke trash. They don't seem to know how to write good characters anymore. The guys who were primarily responsible for RDR2 and several previous games are no longer there. I'll be doing a lot of research before I spend any money on this game.

Others have already said the same. We are just going to have to wait and see. Everything they have shown so far seems to check out though... Game looks fantastic!

And you have to admit, on the surface the game does not look woke. One main character is a masculine white male and the female lead is a hot latina with curves. Most of the promo pics even show the man front and center with the female behind or beside him.

White rednecks, black thugs, comically fat people... We've seen all these things in trailers and it's all very much NOT woke.

There is hope.

I'm not writing it off yet. But there is a laundry list of games over the last 5 years that have been marketed and advertised that way, only to end up being trash.
