Yeah, I've been pretty cocky about how great our clan is. Sorry to disappoint anyone who thought we imploded!

The combined thing was fun, but I wouldn't want to do it more than once a month. I like being with our own guys best.

not disappointed or pleased...actually could not care less either way to be honest.

just found it ironic given how much you've been crowing about your greatness that your membership seemingly bailed. was very Kyler Murray like!

We've been running 4 plus clans doing what you guys just tried out for nearly 2 years. It isn't for everybody, which is why there's so many Aggie affiliated clans that do well.


Is nice to see plenty of healthy Aggie based clans out there.

I'll hit th9 tomorrow morning. Anyone have a list of the top things to upgrade vs the lowest priority items? My DE and Elix are full and I have a full treasury so I can get a good bit going.

I'm at 3 mil gold, so I need to grind to get my CC upgrade going at 5 million.

Anyone playing Clash Royale? Just started this morning, so I can't look to see if there are any aggie clans yet. Might hold my supercell interest since they seem intent on ruining CoC.

I've been playing. It's pretty fun. Still getting used to it. Don't think there are any aggie clans yet. Cost 1000 coins to create a clan and I've been spending all my coins on card upgrades.

I am sure others who are more familiar with games can better describe, but it is a deck building, tower defense type game, that pits you against another player in head to head matchups. you have 2 defense towers and one 'castle', first to destroy castle wins.

It is fast paced and fun, but the deck building aspect really bogs down. for each win, you receive a chest which contains more cards, or upgrades. you can only hold four chests at a time, and so far the fastest chest takes 3 hours to open, next fastest is 8 hours.

You can continue to battle even if you have four chests and will win trophies, which puts you in better arena's (leagues) where you can win better troops. That is a quick summary of what i have learned so far.

Fleff covered it pretty well. Tower Defense/Deck Builder.

It's fun, but from my experience so far... It's pretty stingy on actual play time. They didn't outright put in an "energy" system or whatever (think Candy Crush), but without spending money, you're looking at 5-10 minutes of playtime every few hours.

You aren't limited on game play, you are just limited on rewards. So, you can battle as much as you want, and can earn trophies, for the potential for better prizes. But that may get old

We've got a level 6 clan now. Just purged and got rid of about eight people that didn't donate or always attack during wars. Down to 12 members, where nine are pretty active with donations/attacks. Anyone wanting to join ours since we've gotten a decent level? If we get a few more we can completely dump the people that are next to worthless for wars. We war 2-3 times a week, typically not on the weekends.

I wanted to share my clan as well, if anyone is interested in joining. We are only clan Level 2 right now, but growing fast. Very active, war focused (constantly), and always improving and hitting for 3 star strategies. Welcome anyone from TexAgs, but typically are looking for TH7+ to join.

re-bumping for all of you trying to hijack our thread.

For those with only 9-12 guys in your clan, you really might want to consider folding your clan and sending your members to us or another Aggie affiliated clan. Wars with clans that small aren't nearly as entertaining as big wars and place a huge loot burden on the small membership to fill war castles etc...

We run 5, yes 5 clans all with 30+ members and run wars at 25-45 members 2 to 3x a week in all of the clans.

Aggieland - #2Y8C988Y. Our newest clan in the empire - lvl 6 is one of our 3x a week war clans. Wars will be declared Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday.

Ol'Army Aggies - #2RYVOVPG. lvl 8 with over 100 war wins that wars 3x a week. Sunday, Tuesday, & Friday declares. This is our "mothership clan" - OA is currently full but spots come available as leaders shift members around the alliance.

Aggies United! - #P8G98Y92. lvl 7 clan that wars 2x a week with declares on Friday & Tuesday and is actively recruiting all clan levels.

Hullabaloo - #99VJRGL9. lvl 7 clan that is for TH9 and lowers. HB wars Friday & Tuesday. HB is a great training ground clan for TH8's and below or new TH9's. HB is about to hit lvl 8.

Aggie 12th Man - #8Y928GJQ. lvl 5 "war farming" clan. we are actively seeking TH9's & 10's here but membership capped at 49. This is a great clan for rushed bases or for folks that are looking for a much slower pace without the same war pressures. This clan is "designed" per FWA guidelines and "loses" wars primarily to collect quick easy stars and loot with a minimal cost to gain that loot.

Although all the clans war on a regular basis, you can opt in / opt out by changing availability colors on your profile.

We encourage people to move around to clans in the alliance, and once rank of elder or co-leader is earned, your rank will transfer if you start clan hopping within the alliance. Leaders frequently ask members to move around to help keep all clans "healthy" and on a winning track. If we see one clan struggling to win against opponents that we should beat, we usually shuffle the clans quickly to get back into balance.

The culture in all the clans is strong with friendly banter on the boards, and we offer and solicit advice on better attack strategies and base designs.

Thanks for the advice NICU...

We definitely don't have the time to put in that much effort but what you're describing sounds fun. If we're ever wanting to dive in to something that serious, yes that serious, then we'll fold and request.
