Yes, he is lying in saying that there is not enough homegrown talent in America.

There are hardworking and talented Americans laid off every day who are better suited for their jobs than their foreign replacements, but the foreigners are cheaper.

He wants cheap foreign immigrants from his homeland so he can increase his own influence in America. He is making excuses for why he wants to import labor because he won't admit he favors Indians like himself.

This is following a 48 hour conversation where Indians are specifically railing about the inability of white Americans to participate in the tech industry. He is implicitly stating that white people, the majority ethnic group in America, are incapable of this work.

He is lying. Even if there is a cultural problem, we have more than enough smart and talented Americans ready and willing to do the job. An overwhelming majority of them being white.

We do have a culture issue, exacerbated by ****ing moronicity like X, FaceStaGramaChat, etc.

But foreigners aren't the answer, nor are they overly bright. Was in IT for 20+ yrs, I could count on zero fingers the number of competent Indian/foreign-born people I worked with.

My kid who was valedictorian of her class was bullied and treated like dirt by her classmates from 1st grade on, while the kids who couldn't read but could qualify for state in athletics got parades.

My son was the snart guy who never got in trouble on the football team.. and was treated like dirt by his teammates and coaches. While the trouble makers who never made over 50 on a test had their grades changed to passing and were constantly bailed out of trouble they started to keep them eligible to play football.

And I also remember back to junior high when I got tired of getting my ass kicked every day for constantly having the highest grades… I started missing a few questions on tests on purpose, just so the teachers wouldn't congratulate me for working hard and earning the highest grades… and getting my ass kicked after class.

He is absolutely right that our cultural priorities are fubar.

Lol in my HS the most popular football player also had high grades and went to play for Harvard. Was in top physical shape and all the girls wanted to be with him. Thats not exactly indicative of all of America

You must have lived in the absolute worst school areas in America because this is not a common occurrence.

There are cultural problems, but we are still pumping out more than enough homegrown talent. He is blatantly lying about the extent to save face for the fact that he wants to import more people like him to grow the influence of his ethnic people.

Chad and Karen can stay at home and live with their parents all they want. I think they're a product of the immigration binge in the country not the cause of it, but it's a vicious cycle.

You convince people to work by letting wages rise to the level that attracts talent, and by not subsidizing able bodied people to stay at home and get paid.

Full time mfg job and full-time,plus, start-up waste mngmnt company I'm second in command of.

I don't know any financially successful person, who did it on their own, who DIDN'T work those kind of hours for a prolonged period of time.

I did it working for someone else until I accumulated the money and business experience to go out on my own. Retired just shy of my 56th birthday. Oh and I worked those same kind of hours for myself, too, until about the last 15 years before retiring.
