There are a lot better places to test future systems that limit the view of the public.
no there are drones now that can apply herbicides and fertilizers. This will really start to expand into ag and forestry applications, esp in areas that are hard to get to.Muy said:Ellis Wyatt said:There are ag drones made in Richmond, TX that are 10 feet x 10 feet. That is pretty big.Muy said:
I heard the size of a "hood of a car", which isn't really that insane in terms of the end-to-end length and width a drone could be. People keep thinking these drones are the actual size of cars.
That sounds reasonable for a military drone or I guess a delivery drone, but damn!
If someone was planting a nuke for later use, they would likely be smart enough to make sure it was shielded from detection.General Jack D. Ripper said:

There are drones now that can drop pellets on cedar and get into canyons or on hill slopes that are hard for helos or ground rigs to get to
More importantly, if we were really looking for an undetonated WMD, we would have these things flying 24/7, not just at night for a few hours. This theory makes zero sense.Rapier108 said:If someone was planting a nuke for later use, they would likely be smart enough to make sure it was shielded from detection.General Jack D. Ripper said:

Also, WC-135s would be completely useless to find an undetonated nuke. Their job is to look for and collect evidence from a detonation.

Been watching this story for last few days… curious if anyone has any thoughts? Doesn't seem like anyone including FBI has a clue…
Everyone should listen to the Bongino podcast from his 10am show today. He covers this topic. Brings up a strong point.Quote:
Right now, the government is treating all of us like we're stupid.
The word from local, state and federal agencies is that no one knows who the drones belong to... that's bull*****
You want to find out who owns them? Take one down.
An Iranian boat in the Atlantic Ocean is the "mothership". Not a drone.redline248 said:

I know that. A mothership for drones can also be called a drone mothershipHouston Lee said:An Iranian boat in the Atlantic Ocean is the "mothership". Not a drone.redline248 said:

NEW: Pentagon denies earlier reporting of an Iranian “mothership” launching drones off the east coast, says they don’t know where the drones are coming from.
