It's amazing how liberals talk a lot about climate change but will never adopt a climate friendly lifestyle, always someone else that has to make sacrifices.

Data is showing that the earth may be warming, it's all natural. Get a grip, that man has no power over this and cannot make the earth cool. Just as man has no power to make the earth warm.
Man has no power to even understand why.
According to the International Disaster Database, deaths related to extreme heat, floods, storms, and droughts have plummeted as C02 emissions have risen. The fossil fuel economy has provided billions of people with heating, air conditioning, weather warning systems, mass irrigation, and durable buildings.wxmanX said:

You think because 54% of Americans have been indoctrinated to believe something is a problem means that that something is indeed a real problem and we need more government to "solve" it??

yea, whatever.
World is 1.6C above the mean, NATL highest temps ever, Gulf highest temps ever. Record warm TX, highest lows ever in Baton Rouge, Tampa, Miami, PHX this year.
Morrocco 122F, highest ever.
Greece, 119F highest ever.
Spain 118F tied highest ever.
Apparently, that affliction impacts many on this thread. Although the article is from 2010, it certainly explains how "Climate Science" simply ignores the accepted normal rules of science.Funky Winkerbean said:That one sentence tells us you don't have a clue how science works.Quote:

The atmospheric pressure is 1/100th ours. Mars atmosphere is too thin for a significant amount of greenhouse effect from co2.
Venus, on the other hand, had a run-away greenhouse effect from co2, and the atmospheric pressure is 90x our surface pressure.
The heat will keep on baking TX through early Sept. Hopefully no one burns down...lots of trees are dying around central TX. Worst drought since 2011, and this summer will beat 2011 temp wise when it is over, which was the hottest summer ever in TX.
You would think they would understand and use the Scientific Method properly with all their skills…….wxmanX said:
I should just trust myself, and all the climate scientists I've worked with, some with PHD's from MIT.
I'm sure you guys are smarter than he is. I can just tell by the intelligence on this board.
Specifically, the dude who had some PHD in genetics, that makes you a great meteorologist or climate scientist.

That begs the question-why was it so hot 174 years ago???Aggie Apotheosis said:
Per NOAA, earth just experienced the hottest July in the last 174 years, and ocean temperatures have hit record highs each month for the last four months. This second is particularly concerning because March is almost always the hottest month for ocean temperatures in any given year.
Hottest July in 174 years
Please comment on this videowxmanX said:
Really? How did Venus get that pressure? From years of volcanoes erupting and pushing co2 into the atmosphere.
Which blocks IR and heats up planet.
So now, earth is about 424 ppm, up from 270 ppm from 1870s, and temperatures have warmed about 3F since then. If we get to 800 ppm probably warm another 3F.
Add CH4 and it makes it worse.

If you know so much more than everyone here, and a credentialed scientist, then it would be good for someone of such stature like yourself, to explain why it is crap.wxmanX said:
why? it crap.
You are a bit too sensitive. Both questions are legitimate. The first one was me just messing with Aggie Apotheosis.- although still needs an answer. You seem to be an expert-why was it so hot 174 years ago?wxmanX said:
