Of course there was voter fraud, there has been fraud in every national election ever held in any country ever.
That being said I actually watched this while working on notes this morning and it left a lot to be desired. The foundation of the claim presented is the cell phone data tracking various "mules" to drop boxes and political headquarters. The problem is this is based on a rash of assumptions only some of which are reasonable.
Yeah the videos of the woman taking off her gloves and stuff is highly irregular, but the fact is 99.9% of the votes they counted in this documentary rely on said assumptions and some of them are baseless.
Now full disclosure, I have an inherent bias against D'Souza. I think he's a moron who has spent years grifting for profit. He gets absolutely obliterated in long form debates on any topic. Sam Harris, Hitchens and Jordan Peterson have all slapped him back to the Stone Age at various points. He's just not very bright and I don't believe he even believes half the content he puts out. He has a very Candice Owens vibe.
Fine. Certainly this deserves an in depth investigation and the Dems would want it all exposed to show how it all wrong. I mean this is really damning evidence and they need to be able to show why it was all wrong. Instead I would expect they will use a combination of ignoring it and trying to destroy the people involved with it which is exactly what they would do if they know it is true.
I am also confident that D'Souza would do a live interview or debate with no opportunity to edit to discuss the movie and issues.
My thoughts on this are similar to those laid out by Ben Shapiro on his podcast today.
The documentary clearly demonstrates some highly unusual activity that is pretty clearly indicative of attempts on some level to harvest votes and submit them in a manner that is illegal in most places in which it is done. The documentary also, by design, never directly makes the claim that the ballots in question were fabricated entirely, ie it was votes from dead people, completely falsified ballots, etc. It only attempts to imply that, which is a red flag. Moreover, so much of what you'd expect to be released wasnt. Why were the specific 501c organizations disclosed? Why wasnt any attempt made to demonstrate someone on video going to multiple different drop points? Why was no comparison made to states that went heavily for Trump? These are all things that would have significantly helped their case and they did none of them.
At this point we have a documentary that shows pretty clearly attempts were made to harvest votes from eligible voters and deposit them in large numbers so as to obtain a large number of votes that otherwise would not have been cast, presumably largely for Joe Biden. We then have an implication from those making the film, and an assumption by some of its viewers, that this means a large scale attempt to deposit completely fabricated votes. The latter claim is simply not demonstrated, and it is a significant difference.Using illegal means to obtain LEGAL votes from those who otherwise would be unlikely to cast them, which seems very likely to me at this point, is very different from making up hundreds of thousands of votes out of whole cloth.
The former would lead to a lot of revision in voting laws in many places but would not result in the election being overturned, because the argument that they were still ACTUAL votes would carry the day. The latter is the only way any of the crazy scenarios being tossed about would occur, and theres just not muc evidence of it.
