And like one cop car as the forward escort?

A Ukraineian commuting home in Moscow could drive his truck right into the ICBM vehicle and create a bit of a mess I would assume
Might be an empty launcher.

Oh I am aware of the blast yields available.

My point is, people referencing any kind of nuclear weapons launch need to understand this wouldn't be something the likes of 1945. It would be exponentially more catastrophic.

There's no way they're bringing nukes in, right?

No, tactical nukes would be much more believable in this situation.

Any nuclear weapon usage, tactical or otherwise would mean total isolation for Russia. Even China would be forced to cut off relations with them.

The Topol-M is a road mobile ICBM. They do not sit around and just collect dust. The Russians move them around on a regular basis in order to make it harder to target them.

Also, they do not need to move the Topol-M anywhere in order to use it. The missile has enough range to hit anywhere they want, from where ever it is currently parked.

Lastly, they would not be using a ICBM against Ukraine. They would use an aircraft delivered bomb or a nuclear armed cruise missile of which they have multiple different types.

This. They had their strategic drills last week and move these regularly. This is Vlad flexin his nuts after NATO's announcement today imo.

Probably not even that. It's in Moscow so probably either it is a new launcher, or one just out of heavy maintenance, on its way to its base, where it will be loaded with a missile, or perhaps it is one that doesn't ever carry a missile, but is used for training.

Let's put some things in perspective

"Fat Man" was dropped on Nagasaki had a blast yield of 21 kT...the TOPOL-M carries a nuclear warhead that is 500 kT

I don't think I need to explain further why I am 100% certain there will be no nuclear weapons used

This. You use a nuke of any kind and you're going to die. Putin would be a idiot to try to deploy those offensively, and I think any Russian general would refuse to do that. They'd sign their own death warrant along with their kids', friends', wives', etc. They would need to be suicidal.

Absolutely. I'm just saying vlad is insane and I could see him going with a limited strike option. Mostl likely not but wouldn't put it at 0%

And what you're saying makes sense to any logical person. I 100% agree with you. What I'm saying is look at who we are dealing with. Putin doesn't get told no by his own people. If he thinks Finland is a threat it becomes a comparable scenario. Non-nato country on his board that might join NATO. He's already shown how he handles that.
As Sting once said, "the Russians love their children too." Do you believe Putin is suicidal? Because that's what attacking Finland would lead to.

Another video out there shows a convoy of at least three launchers. (Cover) Story being circulated is that they're in Moscow to take part in a military parade.

I hope this wasn't covered earlier in the thread & I missed it, If so I apologize.

But Ukraine is asking for the US to help initiate a no fly zone. Do any of you guy's now the process in how that's done?

Fox just interviewed a professor from his bomb shelter telling a story about how Russian paratroopers got lost in the neighborhood and were captured by the local people at gunpoint. And how other paratroopers were shot out of the sky by civilians.

Quite likely to be true. Moving missiles into Moscow, in order to use them, is not something Ivan is going to do.

The Russians love showing off their big toys during their parades and ICBM launchers always are front and center.

Now that we are seeing some of the main bridges being blown up, I'm wondering if that was part of the plan? Let a certain amount of the Russians past a certain point without a lot resistance and once that percentages of men and materials passes those points that the Ukrainians think they can handle, they blow the bridges trapping them on that side of the rivers. Allows the Ukrainians to finish off those assets and draw things out that much longer?

I seriously doubt it. Also, i've seen a lot of pontoon bridges in the Russian formations. It's not going to slow them down much - not much more than their own inability to move quickly

I doubt that- on any other day perhaps.

but today- Putin is deliberately moving them around Moscow so that the NATO watchers report it back to their commanders and leadership and it makes the media news
