Instead of fineing businesses individuals can now be fined. Also this overrides counties that didnt enact Karen ordinances because their mayors / city counsel knew better.

We are doing everything we can to keep our business going and our youth baseball league playing. Nothing he said today is going to stop either one of those things.

This. There is absolutely no joy in going anywhere anymore. Eating out isn't pleasant because it's so sterile and regimented. I can't even walk around the damn Target without this stupid mask on. This all sucks.

I want to know what the end goal is. We were told we need to "flatten the curve" and allow the hospitals to prepare. They are prepared. What are we doing now? I could possibly buy into these ridiculously arbitrary mandates if I knew what we were working towards.

I'm getting conflicting info. Are gatherings of over 10 permissable as of July 4th , or are they not? I don't see anything in the order that stops this but some people are saying its the case.

Am I reading that correctly that people exercising indoors will now need to wear masks? Specifically singling out "outdoors" makes it look like you have to wear them inside gyms now, which would be different than the county orders.

I am wearing a mission gaiter when I work out. Can't do the cardio as good as used to but figure I am building up my stamina (like training in mountains).

It is thin enough to breathe and stays cooler than all others.

Still isn't fun, but no big deal.

So masks are not required for church service? Where is the logic in that? I'm against forcing masks anywhere, but what makes COVID any different being inside of a church vs any other indoor establishment?

Mainly trying to have controlled spread as opposed to a raging inferno. Death rates are a lot lower but hospitalization rates are still high enough to warrant mitigation. Need to buck these trends. Can't just keep going up without some problems eventually.


Bexar county has a nearly identical trend line for COVID hospitalizations. We can't just look at this data and do nothing.

What does this mean for my kids day camp and away camp in two weeks? My daughter is 11. Will she have to wear a mask at summer camp? That is ridiculous.
